Terms of Service
1. Service Description
Vettit provides public-data analysis and algorithmic interpretation of UK company records for informational purposes only. It is not regulated financial advice, legal advice, or a credit reference service. Users remain responsible for their own decisions and due diligence. Vettit is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
2. Limitations and Disclaimers
Scores are algorithmic outputs based on publicly available data. They do not constitute professional due diligence and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any commercial, financial, or legal decision. Data sourced from Companies House and other public bodies may be outdated, incomplete, or subject to error. Vettit makes no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any information provided through the service.
3. Data Accuracy
Public records can be filed late, filed incorrectly, or reflect a company's past position rather than its current state. Scores and reports reflect the data available at the time of generation and may not account for events that occurred after that point. Vettit does not guarantee that information is current, accurate, or complete.
4. Payments
Payments are processed on a one-off basis via Stripe. Reports are digital goods — once generated and delivered, they are non-refundable. Comparison reports and subscription plans are charged as listed at the point of checkout. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Acceptable Use
Users must not use Vettit to harass, defame, or discriminate against any company or individual. The service is provided for legitimate commercial due diligence and research purposes. Automated scraping, crawling, or API abuse is strictly prohibited. Vettit reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user found to be in breach of these restrictions.
6. Intellectual Property
Report content, scoring methodology, and UI design are proprietary to Vettit. All rights are reserved. Company data sourced from public bodies — including Companies House and other government sources — remains in the public domain and is subject to its original licensing terms. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercialise Vettit's proprietary output without express written permission.
7. Privacy
Your use of Vettit is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store personal data.
8. Changes to Terms
Vettit may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from your use of the service.
